The Intro

Through a partnership with the Cochin University (Kerala, India), a unique learning space and a Maker Lab consisting of prototyping equipments like 3D printer, CNC and development boards were setup. The idea being to create an open source model of a mini makerspace that can be replicated in colleges across the country with minimum financial investment. Through this space, the organisation has conducted various activities including 3D printer and CNC building workshops for students thereby giving them an active role in building their own fabrication laboratory. Hundreds of other mini maker labs have sprung up accross the state since the inception of this first model.
